The cycle of the VINE

JANUARY

Winter envelops the vineyard in a silent and evocative atmosphere. Snow may appear, but the constant mountain breeze prevents the vines from freezing, protecting them from the extreme cold. It's a time of vegetative rest, while our experts plan the coming year's activities.

FEBRUARY

It's the month of pruning, a meticulous process that guides the plant toward a new productive cycle. The wind blowing through the rows keeps the air clean and the vines healthy, preparing them for spring's rebirth.

March

Temperatures begin to rise and the sap begins to flow through the shoots again, marking the awakening of the vineyard. The first buds emerge, while the sun illuminates the slopes, slowly warming the earth. It's the ideal time to explore the vineyard and admire its return to life.

APRIL

With the arrival of spring, the rows of vines turn green and the hillside vineyard transforms into a living picture. Gentle breezes keep the plants dry, protecting them from humidity and disease. The fresh, pure mountain air accompanies each new leaf as it unfurls.

MAY

The first flowers bloom on the vines, releasing a delicate scent that blends with the pure hillside air. This is a key moment for the upcoming harvest: the wind promotes excellent pollination, ensuring healthy, evenly distributed bunches.

June

The grapes begin to form, and the clusters take shape under the high sun. The summer heat is mitigated by the cool mountain air, which prevents water stress and promotes uniform ripening. The light reflects off the leaves, offering spectacular views of the vineyard.

JULY

While the heat in the plains becomes oppressive, our vineyard enjoys a balanced climate. Constant breezes keep the grapes dry and healthy, reducing the risk of disease. The temperature difference between day and night allows the vines to develop complex and refined aromas.

August

It's veraison time, when the grapes begin to color: the white ones turn golden, the red ones turn purple. The slow ripening at high altitude allows for exceptional aromatic concentration , with grapes rich in freshness and structure.

SEPTEMBER

The most anticipated month of the year! The harvest begins when each bunch has achieved the perfect balance of sugars and acidity, guaranteed by the temperature range and natural ventilation. Our experts hand-select only the finest grapes, preserving the purity and elegance of future wines.

OCTOBER

With the harvest complete, the vineyard takes on autumnal hues, and the freshly picked grapes begin their transformation in the cellar. The cool October climate helps preserve the quality of the must, while the vineyard, now golden and reddish, offers breathtaking views.

November

As nature slows down, the wine begins to age in the barrels. The vineyard enters its autumnal dormancy, but the breezes continue to blow lightly, keeping the air clear and the vines protected. It's the perfect month to savor the first fruits of the new vintage.

DECEMBER

The air becomes crisp and the vines are stripping their leaves, while the morning frost adorns the rows like a crystal veil. Nature falls asleep, but in the cellar, the birth of new wines is celebrated, ready to tell the story of a year spent among the mountain peaks.
