100% Franconia Classic Method Vintage Blanc de Noir Grown in company-owned vineyards in the municipality of Foresto Sparso Altitude 450 m above sea level Guyot training system Extra Brut Dosage 3 g/l
This wine is based on a red grape with a seductive antique pink colour called, in Italy, Franconia. and elsewhere Blaufrankisch, present on the Podere estate since the First World War and naturally surviving all the social and climatic adversities encountered since then. Valued and protected to the point of receiving national recognition from the universities that have studied it, the Franconia grape variety is the basis of this sparkling wine, which we vinify as a white wine, giving it its natural rosé color using the skins that have always protected it. We use the classic vintage method of Franconia grapes, the result of a manual selection of the bunches from the company's historic vineyards, planted between 400 and 500 meters above sea level with a southeast exposure. The harvest is late, around mid-September, and the wine ages on the natural lees for at least 60 months. The excellent structure gives this rosé a strong character and absolute rigor, yet at the same time seductive, like its antique pink color. Refinement and elegance are its distinguishing features.
